Paperform was commissioned to create giant floral displays to help celebrate Spring in the garden city of Toowoomba, Queensland at Grand Central shopping centre.
In collaboration with the team from Engage at Disegno we turned gardening on it’s head and engineered 7 metre tall paper renders of allium, anemone and the local native black orchid. As a final touch we added in some more local wildlife in the form of Glass-wing butterflies to bring our hanging gardens to life.
This was Paperform’s largest scale project to date with the fabrication taking over three months from start to installation.
