Hermès – Christmas

Paperform was commissioned by Hermès Australia to create the windows for the Sydney store Christmas display.

Eight pairs of bespoke paper wings for the five windows were conjured in collaboration with creative director Chen Lu. Thousands of hand cut paper feathers were mounted onto cardboard armature yielding delicate and highly detailed wings that held aloft the Hermès artefacts, floating in our starry galaxies.

Benja – ‘This was one of the most challenging projects of my early career, and became a turning point in my work practice. It was at this moment I understood what it takes to be the best. You only get one chance to make an impression when working with such a distinguished company so I pushed myself to deliver beyond expectations. A fantastic collaboration to be involved in!’
